HOW TO SPA
At Sense of Touch we want your stay with us to be an enjoyable experience. If this is your first visit to Sense of Touch, knowing what to expect can help. The following tips are designed to ensure your comfort.
Please make every effort to be on time. We recommend that you arrive at least 5-10min prior to your appointment, that way we can ensure a relaxing visit. If you are running late, please call us to make sure that we can still accommodate your full session time. Arriving late may result in your treatment time being reduced if there is a booking immediately after. Each session should finish on time as a courtesy to the next client.
WHAT TO WEAR
We encourage our clients to wear comfortable clothing when visiting spa. Alternatively, we will provide you with a robe and slippers.
We regret that Sense of Touch cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen articles. Please try not to bring any valuables to the Spa. Before leaving for the day, please check that you have not left any personal items behind in your locker or the pockets of your bathrobe.
RESPECT THE SILENCE
Please turn off your cell phone and other devices or set them to silent while in the Spa. This is to ensure that you and all other guests can have a serene environment. It is perfectly fine to converse with others in the reception area, however please keep soft tones. If you have young children with you, please keep them quiet. If they disturb other guests we may need to ask you to leave the spa.
AT YOUR SERVICE
During your service, please feel free to communicate with your therapist and speak up on anything that you would like to be different. Whether it is be more pressure, less pressure, quieter music, a blanket or a cup of water, your comfort is the most important thing to us and we will do anything we can to accommodate you.
Please feel free to ask about other services the Spa offers. Your Therapist will be able to give you information on various enhancements that they may feel would benefit you.
After the service we ask that you take no more than 5 – 10 minutes to get dressed. If you would like additional time to relax, we can get you a cup of tea and a magazine to peruse in our seating area.
Sense of Touch does have 4 hour cancellation policy. In some cases, we do understand that emergencies happen and there are circumstances that prevent you from keeping your appointment. We ask that you notify us as soon as possible so that we may allow another client to take that session time.
All packages, memberships, certificates and products purchased are non-refundable.
Gift Certificates are available for all treatments and packages and are valid for 6 months. Please note that prices between branches may vary. Our staff will be more than happy to assist you in selecting the perfect tailored gift for your family member or friend.
SPA MEMBERSHIPS, PACKAGES & GROUP BOOKINGS
Sense of Touch if famous for it’s “Sparties”; a fun, hip way for you and your friends to socialize and beautify! Whether it’s a birthday, a hen night, baby shower, office party for the girls, friends in town or just a prelude to the evening ahead, Sense of Touch will help you tailor make the ideal Sparty for your group. CONTRAINDICATIONS & HEALTH CONDITIONS
Some medications and conditions may be contraindicated for a service you are requesting. Kindly communicate to our staff before the treatment about any special health conditions, recent surgeries, allergies or injuries that might affect the quality of your treatment. Although there is a wide variety of such condition, here are a few examples.
Pregnancy – We will not perform massages during the first Trimester of pregnancy or for 6 weeks Post-Natal. We offer Pre and Post Natal Massages. Other styles such as Deep Tissue, Sports or Swedish are not appropriate. We cannot perform massages on anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or pain medications.
